We have had the pleasure of helping Chance, an 8 week old "swimmer" pup get a second shot at a normal life.
This is Chance (on the left) with his brother:
Chance has Swimmer Puppy Syndrome. It was left untreated for much of his life, he could only scoot on his stomach to get around. Here is a video of him.
After a very long journey, Chance has been rehabilitated enough to be adopted by a wonderful and loving forever family in Illinois. Check out the website that his foster mom made for him outlining his journey.
Chance is an example of why breeding should not be done by people who just own a dog. Please leave it to the professionals.
Have a great life Chance...you deserve it! And thank you to everyone who helped by donating toward his rehab, transports and everything else. Chance is doing well because of caring people like you!
